Jim Chory is a director and co-executive producer for the show Heroes. Chory joined the crew as a producer immediately after the pilot episode. He was promoted to co-executive producer for the second season and reprised this role for the third season.

Jim is a film and television producer and assistant director. He has produced a number of television series and miniseries, including The 60s, The 70s, Bones, and American Dreams. He served as an assistant director on a number of films, including Mighty Joe Young, City Slickers, and The Purple Rose of Cairo. He has also directed episodes of American Dreams and The District. Jim is the executive producer of the NBC series The Black Donnellys, the pilot of which was included on a Heroes recap DVD available to Netflix subscribers.
